Drain Clearing
We are the leading drain clearing experts in South Canterbury with the largest range of specialised equipment to solve any situation.
Sewer & Stormwater Blockages
We have 7 Rigid Drain Clearing Machines which operate by sending a rotating cable down the drain. An assortment of different heads attach to the front of the cable to either retrieve the obstruction or simply cut it out of the way.
Drain Jetting
Hadlee & Brunton have many different sized hydro blasting units both truck mounted and portable for providing a thorough clean to any size and type of drain. In conjunction with the blasting units we use state of the art jetting nozzles.
Why Is The WARTHOG™ the Most Powerful Jetting Nozzle Available
The Warthog's rotating jets follow a helical path down the pipe wall, much like the threads on a bolt. So the entire surface can be cleaned with as few as two powerful jets. The result is streak-free cleaning that passes the most demanding inspection. With stationary jets, the only way to avoid streaks is to use more jets. The more jets in a nozzle; the less power is available for each.
Unlike other rotating jet sewer nozzles, the Warthog'sTM viscous fluid governor slows rotation to about 10 MPH along the wall, preserving jet quality and maximizing cleaning power. Un-governed rotating nozzles can spin as fast as 10,000 rpm. At that speed, the jets are moving nearly 360 MPH along the wall of a 12 inch diameter line. It's too fast, and destroys jet quality and hitting power.
Power. This thoroughly-engineered sewer nozzle power is the result of fewer, more powerful jets, rotated at controlled speed. Every Warthog Nozzle sold is computer-jetted specifically for the customer’s pump and hose combination to deliver the maximum possible waterjet power to the walls of the pipe or sewer. It is proven to be effective removing grease, roots, sand, silt, and debris from sewers.

Waste Pipe Blockages
Hand augers.
These are miniature versions of our drain machines but obviously are more suited to internal household situations.
Kinetic waste gun.
The device fires a high pressure blast of air through the waste pipe in order to clear the blockage. This is very effective clearing blockages from waste pipes such as fats.
Service Location
DitchWitch 970T TRANSMITTER LOCATING EQUIPMENT
We use the same guidance technology to locate services as we use to guide our directional drills. The Ditch Witch 970T can locate any underground metal pipe work or cabling and give accurate depth and direction readings. We can also track all sewer, stormwater or underground ducts using the same technology.

Drain Cameras
Our Pearpoint Camera provides colour pictures complete with on screen distances and is fully recordable. The Rigid hand camera and retrieval device is not only great for locating and seeing blockages in household fixtures with full color images, but it has a series of attachments including a hook, magnet and mirror to retrieve items from the fitting.
