We have installed and service over 500 units around the South Canterbury area from small domestic situations to large commercial applications such as Clandeboye Dairy Factory.

For the typical person off the street trying to deal with all the red tape and consent applications associated with sewer & stormwater disposal it can be an absolute nightmare. The common misconception is you need to pay a fortune and get an independent engineer to design these systems. This is not the case we have a design team of experienced consultants who deal the design and installation of treatment systems everyday. For our larger more complex installations such as the membrane system for Fonterra’s Clandeboye Dairy factory we have the Oasis Engineers in Christchurch to take care of the design aspects.

Zabel Filter
Zabel Filters feature in most Oasis Products. We also install these filters in existing septic tanks for a retrofit design usually incorporating a sand filter trench.
The Zabel filter contains 26 patented disc dam filter plates. These plates dam the amount of solids reaching the field drain by 67% more than other methods. No other method of filtration has ever proved so effective.
Zabel Filter Performance Details:
- Filters more than 90% of all suspended solids
- Treats waste water by lowering BOD5 by more than 50%
- Slows internal velocity and holds nutrients and solids from the tank exit through anaerobic organisms causing the particles to disintegrate, lose their buoyancy and fall to the bottom of the tank
Irrigation Pumps Services
No matter what system you install it is a requirement of both Environment Canterbury and the local councils that they are regularly maintained by an approved service agent. Hadlee & Brunton are the approved service agent in South Canterbury for Oasis products. We have a dedicated service man as part of our team who solely services all our tanks throughout South Canterbury. We provide the customer with a service report each visit which Ecan will request to see usually on an annual basis.
Installation of irrigation
With all aerated treatment units you usually have to install 13mm dripline irrigation to a depth of 150mm in your topsoil layer. The length of irrigation can range from 160m to 700m dependant on the size of your dwelling and the type of ground conditions your site has.
Most competitors use mole ploughs attached to bulky diggers or tractors or even excavate in their raam which is fine if you’re in a paddock. We have specialized technology from America that enables us to install in house lawns with very little intrusion. We also have an excellent hand trencher which allows us to carry out installations in established gardens causing minimal disturbance.
