The Pipe-Thruster is designed not only to apply push forces to a pipeline, but also to pull back a pipeline in the event of obstacles being encountered or other interruption of
the normal process, like HDD, Direct Pipe, Pipe Express and others.

The Pipe-Thruster is designed not only to apply push forces to a pipeline, but also to
pull back a pipeline in the event of obstacles being encountered or other interruption of
the normal process, like HDD, Direct Pipe, Pipe Express and others.
• The Pipe-Thruster is completely independent from the HDD rig by having its own power
pack and control unit. Therefore, it can also be used in other kind of operations e.g.
pushing a pipeline into a tunnel or pulling a pipeline out of the ground.
• It is necessary to install an adequate front/back anchor system such as sheet piles to
withstand the expected operation forces.
